Staffing Sense has developed a rigorous and structured approach to candidate selection, approval and management.
Our candidates are screened by a resume review, followed by telephone interviews to determine whether the candidate has appropriate qualifications. Our recruiting team then personally interviews selected candidates to obtain a realistic assessment of their overall skills, experience and work ethic. After the interview, we perform reference checks by calling at least three professional references and asking open-ended questions about the candidate’s work experience. Following this process, the candidate will be tested on computer/technical skills, as well as industry-specific knowledge.
Candidates are evaluated on the following: capability to perform required job functions, prior relevant experience, work history, attendance, employer references and skills testing results.
When candidates are hired, they attend a new-hire orientation session, during which they review job requirements, internal controls guide, organizational policies and procedures, work site regulations and all aspects of that particular position.
All employees are provided with direct lines of communication to the Staffing Sense office, and are encouraged to use such avenue as a first point of contact for any issues, questions or concerns they may have. This approach allows us to have direct contact with our employees on such matters, which allows us to solve issues quickly and proactively.
Direct Placement - our direct hire placement services focus on providing our clients with outstanding talent. We screen, reference-check, test and interview all qualified candidates, and only present those who we truly believe will be the right fit. Our direct hire placement services are performed on a contingency fee basis only, which means you pay us a fee only after hiring one of our candidates.
Temp-to-Hire - by choosing to hire an employee on a temp-to-hire basis, our clients are relieved from the responsibility of filing and withholding taxes, workers' compensation and unemployment claims, and the management of the daily HR issues such as hiring, coaching, counseling, terminations, and other related issues. Temp-to-hire employees are eligible for permanent hire at any time for a pre-determined agreed-upon fee, or after meeting a minimum of 700 hours at no extra cost to your company. You may also choose to keep them on our payroll for as long as you wish.
Temporary Staffing - our clients benefit from the flexibility of a contingent workforce to supplement short-term and long-term staffing needs for vacation leave, family medical leave, holidays, seasonal requirements, filling open positions during hiring freezes, production peaks and valleys, special projects, etc. If desired, temporary employees are eligible for permanent hire at any time for a pre-determined agreed-upon fee, or after meeting a minimum of 700 hours at no extra cost to your company. You may also choose to keep them on our payroll for as long as you wish.
