Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper

 

Our client, a property management company located in the Seacoast area of New Hampshire, is seeking an experienced full charge bookkeeper to work part time in their office. 

 

An Accounting Degree and experience using MAS 90 software are requirements for this position!

 

In this role, you will handle the accounting functions of the business, including:

 

Payroll

Debits and credits

Accounts Payable

Employee insurance plans

 

This is a temp-to-hire, part time position, totaling 24 hours per week.  Fridays are required.

• You will understand and track market intelligence in the industry with respect to market development, projects, competitive activity, customers, etc.

• You will track the development of such strategies and their resourcefulness in order to achieve organizational goals and objectives
• You will report on daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics as defined by leadership

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration preferred
• Proven successful history of new customer acquisition and retention strategies
• Proven marketing strategies
• Knowledge and history in the Private Care/Duty industry required
• Effective proven staff leadership history required

Credit in good standing - must pass DOS required credit check
High School Degree or GED equivalent, college degree is preferred
Ability to commit to a long term temporary assignment of indefinite length
Good computer/data entry skills
Ability to follow directions
Team-player attitude
Ability of doing repetitive tasks such as lifting, standing, sitting, reaching, twisting, sealing envelopes, filing and reading
Ability to transport thirty (30) lbs.
Previous office experience is preferred

CURRENT DEPARTMENT OF STATE CLEARANCE is preferred

Duration: This is a temporary position of an indefinite length.  Individuals who show exemplary performance may be eligible for permanent hire after a minimum of six months of service.

Hours: 2nd shift - 3:30pm-12:00am

Pay Rate: $17.71/hr. (Base Pay $14.21 + $3.50 Health & Welfare Benefit)

Attendance: Candidates must commit to a long term temporary assignment, 40 hours/week.

Duties will include but are not limited to the following:

Utilizing computer operating systems to process document preparation, creation of document batches, document imaging, scanning and reviewing, retrieval of individual application information, data entry, book printing, generation of mailing labels and sorting, and affixing postage to sealed envelopes
Operating a variety of office equipment in the preparation, processing and mailing of passports and related documents
Performing quality checks for standard fee information on individual applications
Following pre-set pattern for document sequencing
Basic filing to insert and retrieve applications packages from file cabinets
